Place Moses on the beginning of the road.
Once upon a time, a long time ago, God gave people rules to follow. Some people call them just good ways to live. They were meant to help everyone enjoy life with God and each other.
Spread out the rules in front of those present.
The first rule, or best way to live, was (and still is) to make sure that we love God—FIRST!

In fact, the second rule reminds us that we should love God before anything else – even food!

Place the 2nd and 3rd rules on the road next to the 1st.
The fourth reminds us that God thinks we are sacred and wants to spend time with us.
It says to “take special time and be with God”.
This is a special and holy time called Sabbath.
Place the 4th rule on the road next to the 3rd.
Let’s pause and remember these first four rules.
